Xclusive
In an industry of monotonous and meaningless rhymes about materialism, hate, violence, and drugs, XL stands tall above the crowd with unique, and unmistakable, style and substance. Born in a small town in Texas, and musically bread in Georgia, the country boy, XL has been rapping since the age of 14, gathering his musical motivation from the hood and his rural surroundings. After school, XL moved to Savannah, GA, where he joined the group Third Realm. Because of the groups positive reputation, they did shows everywhere from clubs, churches, colleges and festivals. After releasing two successful records, and performing with groups and artists like Grits, Mary Mary, Dedrick Hadden, and Christafari, the group went there separate ways. Still determined to bring a new dimension to the hip hop scene XL went solo and has released his newly titled album "XCLUSIVE". Music from this album has been listened to and reviewed by big name artists such as Jadakiss, Bonafide-of Grits, and Lil' Wayne. All had extremely good things to say about XL's music. "Its definately hot, its new, and its different" said Lil' Wayne after a review. Xclusive is poised to be a "game changing" album because of its style and its message. XL's influences are Grits, 4th Avenue Jones, Ludacris, The Roots, Outkast, Nappy Roots, Linkin Park, Little Brother, and Lauryn Hill.
