This acoustic EP was created as a direct response to fans of John's who wanted a recording that more resembled his powerful live solo performances. Recorded with nearly all-analog equipment and high-end microphones at the Audio Shelter in Los Angeles, California, this set of recordings takes the listener on an intimate journey. "New Mexico" talks about the need to stay with the present moment, the sparse desert landscapes of the U.S. southwest setting the scene for a road trip spiritual revival.
